-500 hours of Certification is required to apply for the National Certification Exam.
-The AMERICAN MASSAGE THERAPY ASSOCIATION does not recognize massage schools which offer less than 500 hours of Certification.
Check with the City and Planning Department in the area you desire to work before choosing any massage school, because a certificate from a program that offers less than 500 hours may not be accepted by your city or state.
